'units'

Always been into art in one way or another and for the past two years I have been studying Art, majoring in sculpture for a year.

Obsessive compulsive - meaningless obsessive thoughts fill your head and are often followed by compulsive acts that are also not necessary, so I designed an object with no intentional meaning and then a construction method. I chose to use jigs and work in a mass production assembly line to churn out the numbers that I needed. I chose two points, I guess it was based on the visual aspect as opposed to a compulsive act, then the distance between the two points gave me the number of units I had to make.

The way they appear in a long winding line, like a long line of ants or a marching army, one unit compelled to follow the unit in front because it needs to. Similar to a common phrase in OCD, something is done to be "just so".
